this is my first time changing headers on a car. all i wanted to know is why are my headers turning blue and gold/bronze? i heard it is because of the heat. i have t-304 stainless steel chrome headers. does this mean that my headers are goin to go bad fast? i also want to know how to make my car faster. i have a dodge avenger with a 420a engine. i have headers , a muffler, and intake. i dont want turbo and i dont want nitrous. i just want it a little faster nothing much. i would appreciate all comments. thanks.
