If I were you, I'd buy a set of street wheels and run the R's on the stock wheels.

That would be a LOT easier....and the car wouild look better on a daily basis.

I've thought about it, but the stockers are pretty heavy and an HS car needs all the help it can get. I'd like to find some 18" RX8 wheels for daily driving.

If they are anywhere near 15-16 lbs, then you're not going to get much lighter without getting real expensive.

I think it is 21 lbs vs. 14 lbs for the Rotas. The Millenia wheels are 13.5 lbs and I should be able to get 'em for < $50 apiece, but junkyards don't seem to be the easiest places to do business with...
