I'm an amateur driver and i'm having trouble grasping the concept of double clutching...i was told that you pop the clutch, throw it in neutral, rev it (rev it to what? the red line? drop down a few RPMs?), pop the clutch again, and then throw it in gear...i dont get when you use it (on a straight-away or turning a curb?) or whether its best done shifting up or down, etc.

please enlighten me...an facts or detail or whatever helps me understand a little better would be appreciated

double clutching is when you shift with ur foot on the gas and just press the clutch ur motor revs high and when u let off the clutch it gives u a lil more boost do this on a straight away NOT in a curb make sure u r up shifting
