WOW!!! Pretty hard to imagine how you could twist an axle if it spun all the way down? Looks like it must have hooked sometime or another to twist them...You dont break or twist driveline, unless it hooks. And you say a couple? It twisted both of them? Are you sure you didnt stick that baby in reverse down there at the other end or something? What spline were they Dustin?????

PICS?? Sounds like a bad batch of forging or something. If they twisted with your massive tire spinning run. Maybe they twisted from driving it on the street that night around the corners on the sticky tires. MOSER will stand behind them I would imagine. But 33 spline is not enough. It needs 35 or bigger.
I just got the gun drilled star lightened 40 splines from Moser. I would want to know why they twisted, cause with street tires and as much wheel spin as you had it doesnt make sense. Unless of course when you hit the wall and the whole car came off the ground they grabbed when it hit and twisted them..:doh3:

MINE IS 3300 lbs son. I know all about it. I have no hard feeling towards you, and I know your not stupid, but explain to me how it could twist the axles spinning the tires? There is a problem somewhere.
So when you get it figured out remember this post. I know how much mine makes and I KNOW how fast I have been. 140 at 3300 lbs you do the math.

After PINKS I will be back with my NOS stuff for a little bit, So you can tell me what I do and dont know.. Word of advise mine goes 124 PLUS ON THE MOTOR @ 3300 and probably faster with the new changes I have made.

White Coupe I pull 1.20 60ft's with my 33 splines, yes I am a little lighter than you but your 60's were not even close to that(and prolly never will with the small tire) so the axles should have been fine. Don't let a little hp cause you not to think straight.

Its not like that, you have some great stuff, and I know your smart, I think like I have said before you dont realize the whole picture yet. I would give you the shirt off my back and help you anyway possible, BUT.... YOUR AXLES have twisted for some other reason, since the car was spinning its ass off. I think you take me for being a smart ass and all I am trying to do is help you. When you make statements LIKE YOU HAVE HERE and tell me 3300 lbs and so on and so forth and act like I dont know, you are making a mistake. I have been doing this for a VERY long time. I just wanted to help you. Thats all.
If your too bull headed to see that those if they are NEW 33 spline MOSER race axles wont TWIST if the car is BLOWING the tires off, unless it did it when you wrecked, and even that doesnt make sense. You have a problem somewhere and its not just HP and 3300 lbs thats all.
Look at it this way, if you can twist a set of 33 spline axles spinning whats it gonna do when you HOOK IT? TWIST A 40 spline? Will you be the only one in the country with a stock suspension mustang and a f-2 to need a 50 spline 9310 axle?
Either way they are twisted as you said and like I said when you get it fixed its gonna haul ass. No question about it.
I am sure a few others in your crowd say (jim said this or jim said that) some are obviously juicin you up. Dont fall for it, I have always been around to be your friend and help you out if you needed it. (advice on the blue car,or whatever else)

i saw the axles after they were street driven and before they were track tested and they were fine, i saw them after the track passes and they are definately TWISTED!! and DUSTIN is as smart as anyone i know on these cars and id reccomend him to anyone also! i'll say this tho if those axles will twist the way it was that night then they will break in a matter of feet in that thing now!

You know I was talking about Tim in EZ Street? I am not sure if you know him or not but he was running 5.0's on 10" tires with 33 spline mosiers somewhat hooking. Nobody is saying that you don't have the power to break the axles, your car may very well be in the 4's. But a good axle breaks when you car hooks not spinning all the way down the track. I think there must have been something wrong with the axles to begin with but then again it's just my opinion. But if the axles were good and that happened then you better go 40 spline.

I guess that was kinda what I was trying to say, before. I think that there is a PROBLEM there. Heat treat? Forging? Or something. I called you last night DUSTIN, and you didnt call back, I assume you dont want to talk, thats fine. I will say this, was there a reason, you were taking the axles in and out?
I would imagine that you must have a reason to have taken them out after having it on the street, and then now to pull them back out again???
Something was obviously telling you to take them out and look at them, were they the MOSER street axle? Were they new? Resplines? Just curious why you would be taking the axles in and out? I am glad you did of course since LIKE I said if it HOOKED you would have been sitting on the ground...

i did see the axles. they are real moser axles. they were definitely twisted. my opinion is that they may have twisted when the car got crazy and had one tire off the ground for sure and maybe when it sat back down it twisted, cause that would be a lot of pressure and HP hitting all at once. the week link will be found VERY soon though because the radials have went bye bye!!! lol

If mine twisted a 33 spline spinning the tires I would be looking for answers. I didnt mean for anyone to take it the wrong way. I ALSO said that it may have done it when the wheels came off the ground and it landed. Go back and read it. You guys need to wipe your noses and stop taking shit so personally. Or get some MIDOL for them cramps. Thats what I really think.
