Think we can make a few more passes than last time? I bet Ed and his buddy's will be up for some grudge matches. Have only talked to him on the other board a few times, but seems like a great guy.one of our kind. Ed looking forward to some track time with you guys........plus my offer still stands to put some low times on your turbo bike if you want a light weight to pilot it................did somebody say "hired gun" yeah maybe, but I work real cheap. ed pm or e-mail me..........

Dash,
Hey Buddy!
Man, I saw your name on here but didn't realize it was the same Dash! Most EXCELLENT bro! :)
Yes, hopefully you can make it out to Brainered!
I am only going to be 4" over with a TOTAL ghetto arm that I have on my bike, so I will be taking it wasy.. 14-15 Lbs of boost..
My trac arm will be here [next]Wednesday. I'll put the shootout tire on, take it out to 10" over and then shoot for some 5 teens to 5.20's.
Dash, don't you have a turbo bike, too?
Look forward to seeing you there!!!

Hey Ed, no turbo........mostly stock, but tuned really good. Am 6" over now with auto shift and Shinko 190. Runs consistent 6.0's and a couple of 5.90's stock wheelbase. Had some clearance and shift problems (as you know) after extending and couldn't really launch like I needed to. Was still hitting low 6.0's and some 3.90 330' times with 1.50 60' times. Hope to get at least more 5.90 or lower now that it's extended. I flipped an e-mail to you with my numbers, give me a shout.

Hey Dash, ye bastardo! I called your home number last night. It was 9 my time (CDT) so that may have been to late. I dunno. No one answered, though.
Fug'n air shifter still doesn't work. I need a whole new air shifter altogether, I do believe. To bad there isn't a place I can just go and buy one today. <sigh>

Sorry Ed, went Christmas shopping.....................not home til later. Nah never to late to call me dude. Are you running air or CO2. I'll have a couple of tanks with me we can try. We'll get it figured out on Sunday. If you really want a whole new set up call Doug at Spencercycle see if he can get one of his kits out to you. Go with the full auto shift box though.

Dash,
I've just finished talking with Pingel, and then MRE.
They've bot said the same thing (both very helpful!).
We need to connect the solenoid directly to the shift cylinder (1/8" NPT). They BOTH theorized that it's taking to long for the air to get from the solenoid to the shift cylinder (24 " on my bike...) and that's throwing off the timing just enough so that the kill isn't happening when it needs to.
I'm going to run out at lunch and by a male to male pipe fitting so I can connect it straight to the shift cylinder.
I will test tonight!!! I shall post again!

Ed, makes sense. In theory anyway. Mine is about 12 inches or so away, directly above behind the tail section, in front of the passenge peg location. Let me know.

That is EXACTLY where mine is, too.
I went and got the fitting I need to relo it directly to the cylinder. I'll connect it when I get home.. (By 5 o'clock) and post back to the SH.org thread to let all know if that fixed the problem (now way...) LOL :)
