Clean87

I'm selling my 1987 Pontiac Trans Am.
Right off the bat, this car was in a crash, a head on crash at 15 MPH. The drivers fender, front bumper cover, and bumper packing, radiator, etc, and hood had to be replaced. The car suffered no other damage other then that. The car was put together again last year, and fits up perfectly. The car DID have a salvage title, I recieved money upon the adjuster calling the car finished, however the funny thing is, when I went to re-register the car, the DMV had no records of the car having a Salvage title, which is pretty cool in the long run :spin:
So, I'm selling this car as is, with a clean CA title. Which is bad ass lol.
The car is a 3 owner car (myself included), it was built in Southern California, and has never left the state in it's life. Here is some info.
Engine and Transmission:Perfect condition. The engine has never recieved a rebuild in it's life, it was recently serviced, new plugs, oil change, filter, etc. about a month ago. The transmission was serviced approx. 4,000 miles ago. The car has 117,000 miles on it, pretty damn low for a car from 1987. There is only one thing with the car now, it needs a new Mass Air Flow sensor, it went out on me about a week ago, that is the ONLY thing that has ever gone out on it while I owned it. The part can be picked up new for around $200, however, you could get a used one for around $50, or less. The car will not drive with the MAF in it now. It went out on me when I was cleaning it, I got a little to close with the MAF cleaner and damaged the coil wires :-(
Interior: Complete and very clean. The dash is flawless, most 3rd gens have dash's that are cracked to hell, or dont line up, not this one, it's clean as hell, looks brand new. The guage cluster is also spotless, clean and un-molested. The carpet is in good condition, the rear seats are spotless, looks like they have never been used in there life. It also has the fold back rear seats, and T-Top storage bag. The only one thing is with the center console, it's not a big deal, but if you want pics I'll send you some, nothing adhesive cannot fix for $5.00.
Exterior: The exterior is very straight, other then a few small small dents from the hood, it's 100% straight, no dings, no dents, amazing condition for a 3rd generation F-Body. The car recieved new paint 3 months ago, it was repainted, the paint was $600. It's good, not show car quality, but it's really good. Glass is also in great condition, T-Tops are flawless. New front tires as well. (245/60/16's).
Misc facts and info:
-Engine is an L89, which is a Tune Port Injection (TPI) 5.0 LItre 305 CI motor, which makes 210 horse power and 280 lbs of torque. This is also a roller engine, roller cam, roller rocker arms, etc.
-Car has WS6 Performance Suspension. WS6 is NOT just a 4th gen option, in 1970 it started as a suspension upgrade. in 4th generation cars it was more, had a cam, exhaust, etc. This WS6 suspension in the 3rd gens was similar to the 2nd gens, nothing but suspension upgrades, the car handles great. Also has POSITRACTION with 3.32 gear ratio.
-Car does have cruise control, AC (needs belt), power door locks, power windows, Disc brakes, positraction, T-Tops, Tach, and more.
-To repair this vehicle after the crash, this is what it cost:
-Radiator: $210
-Hood: $180
-Fender: $130
-Bumper support: $80
-Bumper Cover: $150
-Light covers: $130
-Electric motors for lights: $230
-Paint: $600
Over $1,500 invested in this car, very dependible (before MAF went out).
I'm selling because I also have a 70 Firebird 400, and a few more projects and I need to lose one of my cars I have.
Here are some photos of the car...

Car does have 16 inch by 8 inch Aluminum wheels, very light. It's unsure if this car is a Trans Am GTA 5.0, it has every option for one, so it could be. But I'm not going to advertise it as such unless I know for sure.
Asking $3,200. Might nego, also willing to trade.
