For the newer people on here that hasn't raced with us the past 2 years, here are the rules right now.For the other riders that race with us,feel free to help if i leave something out.I am doing this in a hurry and nothing in front of me.Needless to say,my mind is going with age.

We have 3 classes.

750 cc's and below
751 cc's to 1100 cc's
1101 cc's and above

Stock swingarm
No power adder's (Turbo's,Nos,etc..)You can build the motor and have power commanders and such but must be naturally asperiated.
No electronic's
Oem type clutch
No air or electric shifter's
No wheelie bars
No slicks
Stock wheelbase
You can have a strap on the front and of course low as you want.

There are a few more,i'm just not with it right now.Basically,if you ride it on the skreet, and it's stock wheelbase with no power adder's,and all the rules above,it's fine. This is to keep the compitation close and has worked for years. At Brainerd,we do this once a month and the payout is $300 to win and $100 for second and $50 for 3rd and 4th.This is for each class.

We are wanting t get a big class with very few restrictions.Basically, streetbike (true street) with unlimited stuff.Maybe Turbos and Nos or maybe just one power adder. This all needs to be decided if we are going to run this class.Stretched,etc..basically,no wheelie bars and No slicks.

dash gets the 411 Knoxville race together and they may be doing this once a month also.He will have to chime in when he corrects my error's here.

We also have a bracket class, which is anything goes.Just 2 wheels and a dial in is all this is.Mopeds, dragbikes, dirtbikes or street bikes.Hope this helps guy's and feel free to jump in.:burnout:

Jamie,

Going by these guidelines you are seriously limiting who can compete. None of us turbo/nitrous guys with arms can compete :(.

Ed,that is why i said i am thinking of starting a new class for ya'll.I just need help getting that class going and the bike count there.the classes we have keep a good race and bike count up and everyone within reason that fit these rules can win.I have one quite a few with much less bikes than others.Dash and Jr has done the same. But with this new class,we just need to get some rules and get it going.Any suggestions? I personally think it would be easy tech if they were run what ya brung with no wheelie bars, slicks or electronics.but then i am afraid it will be the man with the most money wins.Like our current rules, you could take a stock bike and win $600 in one day,Right Dash.he and i have both done that.He done that on my Gsxr 1000 when his clutches went out.I let him ride my Zook and i rode my Zx.He ended up winning $600 i believe and like i said, that was a stock bike with stock exhaust.I think he ran a 6.25 @ 118 or 119 mph.Eitherway, help me help ya'll.:burnout:

Ed, i just want it to come down to being competive with reasonaly priced equipment. If we get to wild, tech will get difficult and like i said, money will win races. We need to keep it down to where normal peope can feel like they have a chance. That is what makes this type class fun.Knox has a helluva turnout, but the winner's are the ones that usally race with us.Brainerd, that i put on,same way. But,any given time a faster bike can wheelie, spin or miss a shift or just get beat at the tree.basically,it just makes it intresting.Like i said, someone can come to watch out of curiousity and the realize, hell i have a chance.I can run with that guy.then it turns into a "grudge" thing with money to boot.Like i said, help set the rules and i will get a class if ya'll think we can get some bikes.I would love to see some killer bikes flyin'.

I totally agree...I see it from both sides...And belive that if we start getting nos and turbo bikes in our regular classes it will turn alot of our younger less experinced riders away..Why pay when they know they wont win..Thats what theyll say..Im positive if we have enough bikes in that catogory coming out then there would probably be a class for ya...:burnout:

I agree too , it's not cool for a guy with nos and turbo race a guy that don't have those stuff , no good he he ! agree of making that new class for those kind bikes with nos and etc..
