Yeah I realized that after they where on!!!!:doh3: Its got to come apart again anyways to clean up and paint the frame.

$$$ Is why the leaf springs are still on it. It will hook, I've seen s10's with leafsprings run 5.30's.

Sharp looking truck. What size are the rear tires and wheels? Would go with a bigger engine. But on the same hand, I saw a 30? SBC for a asphalt car make over 700 on a dyno at Clement's Race Engines. They wouldn't tell much about it. Good luck getting it going.

The wheels are 12" wide with 325 50 15 drag radials. Just being a smart ass about the motor being a cammed 305. (That was Homebrewed's favorite motor he said was in his car.) It will be a streetable sbc!!!!!

with the way my shit has run here lately i think it is a 305 with no cam,but it doesnt cost anything to sit in the garage.i talked to bigtyre he said give him the hit with his 64 and he will DRAG THAT BLUE MOTHERFUCKER DOWN HIS STREET.

Only if he has a chain hooked to the front of the truck, so atleast it will be close, even without a motor.

Tell Chris he better get something fast about spring time next year, and be ready.

All I can say about last time is single track rear end with 3.07 gear, 425hp sbc vs 640hp rear wheel hp 03 mustang. He got beat not once but twice, its all in fun we knew that mustang was fast. Looking forward to the rematch next year, if we can keep the shit from being stolen!!!!! Its hell to start all over from scratch.

I hope Chris gets to make a pass down the track soon, he is a fighter and has worked hard to get to this point.
