Pinks!!!

I had a great time at pinks.congrats to all that went and got to run i know jims first pass has troubles but his second looked awesome with him and his dad runnin really close at finish,and dougs car really made a fast pass lookin good whole way.i just hated to hear what happened to allan i was walkin pits wonderin wat happened then i seen his car just glad hes ok crazy how a trans cooler can do all that.but all in all i think they put on a great event i had a blast.we got a video of the stunt guys crashing right in front of us that was crazy.i wish pinks would do some 1/8 mile shows.but it was well worth the drive and setting in the sun.

I wish it was only the tranny cooler lol. Sr., Jr's, and Doug's passes all looked great. It was great to see the Father/Son race. Even with the trouble we all had we still had a great time.

What happened to your car ? Well, it pushed the front seal out the tranny and busted the tranny cooler and had a huge fireball come out. LOL, I don't know what all the damage will be in the tranny yet but I expect to be fixing/replacing the converter, clutches, seal, etc. plus a new cooler. Till we get the tranny out and apart we do not know the extent of the damages. All this sitting in the pits lol. The converter wouldn't stall and I was determined it was going to. LOL

his converter had to do something the way he was pushing it. (nothing bad intended Alan)glad it wasn't worse than it was because it could have been real bad when it caught fire. if you need anything Alan let me know. I think I have a tranny cooler .

Just got to stop letting ford guys build your chevy tranny :) that is what it is. Ha ha j/k of course.

I had a great time too at Pinks even though I am burnt to a crisp. Glad to see alot of cars there that I recognized and alot of them made a nice passes down the 1/4 mile.

i gotts give it up to allan for his tow rig. he was hauling more than me and just left my chevy. i tried to keep up but the hills wouldn't let me. of course i just have a 305. he has the f-2 or 350.

Sorry, I didn't know we were racing lol. I just set my cruise control. I was ready to get home, no shower for two days and very little sleep and I still had to be in Maryland the next morning. LOL, the truck pulls pretty good but it sure don't get any MPG for a diesel!!!

that trailer i had was heavier than my car. it was all the little 305 could handle. once i got up around 80 i pulled great. but overdrive was too high of a gear and 3rd was too low of a gear.
