My backyard is being invaded by cool tonka toys tomorrow.

As some of you know I bought a new house recently (the casa of pimp I might add), but half of the yard is nothing but this ridiculously overgrown and over vegetated under brush! I'm not entirely sure why you buy an acre and can only use less than half, so I've got a dude coming with one of the coolest pieces of equipment I've ever seen in my life!!!

It's a skid steer 'brush cutter'. Instead of knocking down trees and then either disposing of them or sending them through the chipper, this thing just does it all in one. Check out this video:

I'm not sure really which brand of machine he is using, I just know that it's one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Now if I could just figure out where to rent one of these things, I'd go apeshit.

those are cool. Ive got a friend in Covington that has one. We had geogia power clear a right of way for powerlines on our property the other day and they used one on a track hoe. It would take down 40-50ft pine trees. I had to watch it for a while

I did some work on one of the biggest ones they make.it was mounted on a track hoe as well......i had to play with it after i got it running....man what fun.
