The race was great and the Howe's done a great job getting the track prepped. The starting line was awesome, I only wish I had my car there but I enjoyed helping 65Mopar get to the semi's. It is hard to get track conditions good enough to get 1500-2300hp down on 10.5's. As far as the in between rounds, that is just drag racing IMO, it is much longer at a lot of places. This race was a 9 out of a 10, if it hadn't been for the threat of rain it would have made the 10...
The one thing I don't understand is this. A local track tries to give the region some heads up racing, they offer a good payout vs how many rounds you will have to compete. Yet all these heads up guys will travel upwards to a thousand miles or better to go to a race that they have a lot less chance of winning to race for the same or less cash per round raced and not bring there cars 100 miles to compete at this local track. That is what I don't understand!!! If you want heads up racing around instead of the bracket shit then bring your azz out and support it!!!
All I heard from people before the race was, if only this, if only that, I can't make it because of this or that. But yet when ORSCA, Pinks, or FFW comes around you will drop any and all plans to go to it. It just goes to show who the real racers are and who needs to stay at the house sucking on there binky!!!
All you guys who stayed your azz at home because you was scared it might rain, you missed a hell of a show and I hope you think about that for a long time. All you guys that don't have a car to compete but call yourselves "Dragracers", and stayed at home because you had to have burgers with Grandmaw, you can't be a drag racer or a real fan, your just another average person, a real "dragracer" would not miss this show unless there was a death in the family or a serious sickness. But you say, I just didn't have the money to come, well I dang sure didn't have the money to come and I am sure others didn't as well but we came regardless to support this cause. The people you see that come to this track every month for this race no matter what, that is the people I respect because they are "True Racers" not average yoo hoo's....... This is what I don't understand!!!

PUSH ROD. You seem to have nothing but bad things to say about what we do, why not do us all a favor and just stay home in the future.
Lynch broke a trans, NOT THE TRACKS FAULT. He is coming back to show you that think it was the track how to do it. I spoke with him this morning. He went quicker in 60 and 330 that he does most anywhere else. He also had a hard time yesterday at Phoenix city.
In Outlaw racing there is some down time, unlike a bracket car these cars need ample time to make adjustments and tune the cars. Glidden went 4.59 on the only good run he had, he also broke a trans, he told me this morning it knocked a pilot bushing out and he only wanted to try and win, which he did. I think you are one of the ones that would have something bad to say no matter the situation so in the future just stay home.

And I wants to say THANKS TO THE HOWE'S for all the hard work they put into this and everyone else that was involved.

on any track it takes a few passes to get it dialed in i am sure the track does not compare to much higher dollar facilities but it's still a good track.... a 1.08 60ft is pretty good for billy i know he has been some 1.02's on killer million dollar tracks...... i doubt lynch ran his best 60's and 330's there but i am sure they were respectable..... it's easy for everyone to bitch when they are settin on their asses watchin not puttin there money up and tryin to get everything organized...... go to a nmra or a ffw event and see how much down time they have between rounds or have bracket car's running between rounds.... jim and his guys are doin a good job everyone should be thankful they even got to see those two cars together on the same track he did something noone else could do..... davidcpc

I agree 100%. Down time in between rounds sucks for the spectators but I'm sure the racers appreciate it. It's alot longer in FFW so I didnt think it was that bad. The racers need that time to tune, adjust etc. Sat night was unreal in my book.

I meant to respond earlier, I agree we have had our differences, thanks for the props. We are trying and it will only get better. I am tickled with our racers and our fans.
Sorry you missed it,It was a good show. I feel I set the bench mark on that one and I now have something to compare to for the future.
Thanks

I didn't think the down time was that bad. Gave us all time to run after beer , food , pee break , and lots of time to BS with the guys.
