Well here is my take on the the Bounty Races from this weekend. The house was packed and the cars were hooked. Had a great time and looking forward to more races like this one with the exception that my car gets to run too...

Speaking of which - check the simple stuff first... we changed out the oil filter and got good oil pressure again, did the oil change so we are happy happy happy.:cross::spin:

I use wix now, i collapsed a FRAM and lost oil pressure not long after i built my motor. great photos also!

On a side note,Wix makes the filters for Fram.Atleast they did for 13 years i worked at the filter paper mill.:) If you look at a Fram filter,it should say Wix.But i say run what works best.

christine, I dont know about your OIL psi problems but the car sounded like the trans was broke or convertor was when I heard it run. Something to look at.

I think we are going to put a K&N filter on it (Speed Central can verify what they have on order for me Wednesday) for now he put an ac delco on it just to see what the problem was and we will be actually changing the oil then. The ac delco filter brought the oil ps right back to where it was supposed to be which is a good thing. But we all know that those bearings probably need replaced real soon as well as getting rods checked ect...Thanks for the info I 'precinate' it mucho.

I did get some good pics, didnt I ?! :eyebrows:

8x10 = $10 each

5x7 = $5.00 each (minimum of 2 qty, but you can choose two diff angles.)
or

ON CD for $20 (that is every shot I got of your car that event)


The CD is your best value cuz then you get go have as many prints made as you want at Wolfe, or Walmart...

I usually bring them with me to the next race unless other arrangements are made. If you want me to ship a cd or prints, then add $5

I know there were some tuning issues with the fuel that we never got to address but the car seemed to pull fine and shifted fine too. What did you hear? Dont want to miss nothing, know what I mean>?

sounded like it was leaving the line in second gear. Maybe a video review will help...

Its a great track with a pro team running it!!!! First time Jon ran there and I plan on taking my car there when its done!!! Mark

It's been years and years since i was there but i remember it being a pretty nice track. Let me know when you guys run up there again i'l come check it out.
