Price = $5,300 (NADA suggested value) or best offer...no trades.
Well, it's time to put the wife's car up for sale. It's a 2000 Hyundai Tiburon (I know, I know). She got it brand new off the showroom floor in February of 2000. Right now it has just past 100,000 miles (I'll double check tonight and get an exact number). Description and details are below:
Color is red
5-speed
Moonroof
Power windows, lock, and mirrors
Keyless entry and alarm
Weapon R intake (again...I know, but it's still functional)
Eibach Pro Kit springs
Spoiler from '99 sport model...custom molded by Malibu Collision in Halls
20% tint all the way around
The car has been meticulously maintained. I have personally done all of the oil changes since 2001, using Castrol Syntec fully synthetic oil. All four rotors and pads were changed within the last year or so. They were the original brakes and lasted almost 100k, not bad if you ask me.
There has only been 1 recall (if I remember correctly) and it was just the driver's seatbelt replacement, nothing major.
We only had warranty work done 1 time, to replace a cracked axle at about 30,000 miles. So there is approximately 70k on the "new" axle and still no problems.
For the 100k mile warranty to be valid, scheduled tune-ups at 30k, 60k, and 90k have to be performed at a Hyundai dealership. The 30k and 90k tune-ups are pretty basic (belts, fluids, blah blah). The 60k tune-up is the major one (about $700) that includes a new timing belt along with all of the other stuff. All of these were done, on time, so the warranty was valid for the full 100k miles.
I will get pics up later tonight, once I get home from work. If you have any questions just ask. I would absolutely drive this car anywhere with no worries. Even though it's a Hyundai, I bet this car has had less problems than most Hondas, Nissans, or even Toyotas. I have ran the carfax already, so if anyone wants to see it, I can get it to you. There are plenty of people that can vouch for this car, it has been a staple in the Halls/Gibbs community for the last 7 1/2 years. Everyone that knows this car, also knows my wife and her family personally. If anyone wants to see or drive this car, please call me at 865-406-4410, my name is Brad.
