How do you know its a cold air intake?

This is my first post so hi everyone, and i do realise this question may seem rather basic but I was wondering how you can tell (when the hood's popped) if a car has a cold air intake, does it have a certain type of air filter, or larger intake ,or throttle body or something? Thanks for any replies, in advance

first of all its not an cold air its a cool air usually it has a long pipe with a big filter on the end it comes out of the throttle body if u pop the hood on an import or something its the firts thing u see
