Marauder vs GTO, Saturday Sept 1st at the hole

331coupered called me out, so lets get to it. Saturday the 1st at the hole. You get one car.

Marauders seem to run mid to high 14's from the factory, and dyno about 250rwhp stock. And weigh in at 4200lbs.

GTO's dyno 340-350 stock, and weigh in at 3725, are geared better and don't have POS ford slushboxes for transmissions... however coupered is in firm belief that it will hang with and dominate my "high 13 low 14" second GTO.

3100 or 3200 hundred without driver, hell its full interior there isn't any weight taken out of it besides the tubular shit up front, other than that its full weight, power windows, door locks.

Cool cool. Trying to get an idea of what my camaro will run. Its 3180 dry, should be 3150 when I swap the wheels out. Should make 575-595 on the 175 kit. Might have to drop the 4.11's in favor of a 3.73 tho .

My dyno numbers maybe alittle faulty, not by much but it was spinning the tires on the dyno and I've seen other cars make more power on other dynos then when they get on this one they drop a good bit, but theres no telling I wasn't really trying to get a hp rating just trying to get the air fuel right

Might have to drop the 4.11's in favor of a 3.73 tho .Not trying to tell you what to do....its your car , but I think thats a good idea , I have had enough dealings with over gearing a car that makes good power and torque , You run through your power band too fast and the car never really gets back into the heart of its power......The 3.73's would be a good choice in my opinion , My 07 has 4.10's and I am considering going back and putting in 3.73's , after We put the 3000 converter in the car a couple months ago all it does is spins now anyway on motor

coupered-your car didn't seem to like the dyno. since i've started making pulls on cars all the auto cars seem to spin worse and since your converter is so loose that seemed to be a lot of power loss. this is the reason i stopped paying attention to dyno #'s and just use it for a tool.

Your camaro should make more then that, my car made 580 on a 125 and kyles black car made something in the nieghborhood of that, I dont want to say cause I dont know if he want it out there.
