What years of what cars will work as a manual rack for the fox bodies? I remember getting a few from AAP or Auto Zone but don't remember the part number or years I ordered them for.

i got mine off a fairmont in the pull a part yard 79 or 80 i think.along with the manual brake kit to and steering shaft.all for 35.00 bucks god i love junk yards!

you can buy the rack brand new from MPS for $159 and the coupler for $70 check out there website its on there everywhere in town i check they where $220 and up new

What about tie rod ends, power racks are shorter than manual I was told. What do you buy them for?

I got mine at AUTOZONE and it was a 82 with a four pot, and Ken Smith Auto Parts can get the tie rod ends, factory motorcraft . I think i have 160 in it all!
