Need help!!!! on putting a yoke on pinion

I trying to put a new yoke a my rearend (2001 Chevy S10) and I was wondering how can I tighten it up without taking the rearend apart and measure blacklash and all that junk.

well the correct way is to change the crush sleeve behind the bearing because that is what helps on the preload for the bearings.or if it was me you get a bigg fuckin impact and zip it off and back on.

Mark where the nut is on the pinion, and put it back in the same spot. It should get you close.
