Anyone in the Charlotte area?

I am getting ready to move back to NC next month and thought I would see if anyone on here is from the area. I will actually be in Monroe, NC and be racing at Jefferson-Pageland dragway. A friend of mine is part owner in the track and has done wonders with it in the past few years. Best thing that ever happened to the place I think.

If you are you better be on the lookout for the Satin Black Mafia. :nitrous: :) :) All the cars are in some form of Satin or flat black. BUT......Dont let the paint fool you tho ;)

when does everyone usually go to the farm, thurs or fri? I am looking at going within the next couple weeks. want to get a baseline before I do my heads, headers, aluminum driveshaft, E cam, 1.6 rollors and 3.73 gears

Dont worry. Bruton Smith will get his way one way or the other. The dragstrip will happen in Concord or he will move the whole thing and build new. As soon as everything is fininalized for the speedway my partner and I are looking for land to build a new shop in the area. So be on the lookout.
