I don't see the point. I didn't see any cheating, and couldn't really tell who won the race.

Did he actually red light, or did the stang driver have a bad start?
Either way you look at it, It looks to me like that stang stuck in there pretty well for a car prolly about 1/3 or so the price.

From what I skimmed through on the "STANG-SITE" I got the vid from, the Viper did redlight(you can see it on the tree as they pass), and the Viper also ran a 10.86 or so the Cobras 10.9-whatever.
What the Mustang people were scratching their heads over was the the Cobra had a higher MPH than the Viper. :why: The Viper trapped about 5mph slower than the Cobra for some reason

But you did say the Viper was cheating because he redlit. If that's cheating, when I run a full tree I am one cheatin mofo. Looks (sounds) to me like the Viper missed forth gear......several other clues: He didn't have much of a head start but still pulled the stang off the line, when mostly stock my car went 11.63 at 123mph...... his 10.8x should have been approx 133 mph. That car without the misshift is probably a 10.50 car. Did they mention the guys name ? What was the location ? Sounds like "teamvipa" killer is still upset from a loosing autox season :) don't forget 12/7 OUCH :D
p.s. Listen to the video and watch the back of the Viper (exhaust) and you can see/hear he missed forth.

Damn, Dr. Viper comin' in and making the disection on the exhaust note! I guess that would explain the lower MPH.
And I'm always bitter when I'm :owned: .....I just get more vocal when it seems the cards are rather stacked against me.
I have no info on location or who drives the cars.........it was small vid that I was able to download and just figured id put up something other than TRAY SLIDING in FWD's on here.

Yes......BUT, tray sliding will make good video of a front drive taking out a light pole in some parking lot. Do they have to grease the trays or is there actually enough hp to motivate without the grease :)
