hopeing someone can help me out here . i just put an new cam in my mustang (87 ) . the old 302 didn't have roller lifters , so i purchased comp cams rollers lifters (the good ones not oem replacement kind ) to match the cam . my problem is i am use to adjusting lifters by listing to them tap then tighten the roller rocker down just till it stops taping then 1/4 - 1/2 turn more and locking them down . my problem with these new roller lifters is the motor don't tap the same almost not at all ? i was wondering if someone has some advice about how to go about this in a better way ? i have triple vavle springs and custom lenth push rods (had the heads done to match the cam ) . motor runs fine but i just am not sure if i got these rocker arms adjusted to the lifters tight enough or to tight ???

any ideas or help would be great !!!

i forget the cam specs been a few months since i did it . i don't drive the car it just sit in the garage . i still need to do the converter , it still has some cheap 2500 stall in it . i am thinking i need 3300-3500 , i will find the cam card and make a sig for everyone soon . first post hope someone can help me all my seachs for info are abit to tech for me and i can't find any local race mech. to help me out .
