Do you or anyone else who has run at both Crossville and Brainerd know if there is a big difference in the mph timers between the two tracks? I tested at Brainerd last night, trying to improve the launches and ran one run with very similar 60, 330, and 660 incrementals but showed 5 mph slower than what it ran at I40. It was pulling fine and I can't find any other reason for the difference. Other than that we kept blowing the tires off it.
On another note, Billy Smith was laying down some good numbers on drag radials though. Damn that car is bad ass. A buddy of mine from middle Georgia was up and had not seen it run before. I think his lower jaw is still on the floor.

i have never run at brainard but i have heard alot of people ask the same ?. alot of them seem to pull more mph at I40 then at brainard. have heard some say they were no difference either way and even a couple that said they were slower at brainard, so not sure on the difference?

Brainerd trap speeds are slower than I-40 by about 3-5 mph. I wouldn't be too concerned about it unless it wasdramatically slower.

Dave I have heard the same... SOme people are the same others are different. It has to do with the nose catching the MPH light or not.
Glad to hear your running the car..

OK, thanks guys, I feel better about it. 5 mph seemed excessive but maybe not.
I'm still bummed about missing the last Bounty and I'm still working Sats and Suns so last night was the only good opportunity I had to go somewhere. I'm probably done til spring so unless work lets up, I'll see you all then.
