Who built your C-4, any details appreciated.

Who did you have build your C-4? I know some people here have them locally built using parts sourced from major companies such as PA, or Dynamic. Please list if you drive the car everyday, what converter (if applicable to builder of trans) etc that you have been happy with.

Me, my dad and uncle built mine.I just used a B&M stage 2 shift kit, my converter was said to be a 2500 stall by Dayco but I can foot brake it to 3000 before it starts sliding the front tires and it feels like it flashes to about 3400 rpm's. I dont drive it every day though but my car also has a 4.30 gear and that is the main reason thay I dont. I do have a coupe w/a C4 and 3.73's that I drive daily.

I have all my tranny's built by a place not far from me. He races mud trucks with over 1k hp and builds his own also. He has built all my Transmissions for over 7 years and probably 15 tranny's. I have only had one problem with one of the work trucks and he had it fixed within a week. He will be building my new c-4 / 3,500 stall very soon. The name of the shop is Paul's transmissions and I have no complaints. You can tell him that I sent you. He is located not far from Walnut Grove which is near Hwy 138 and Hwy 81 in between Conyers, Loganville, and Covington. Call me and I will get his number for you or post it on here tomorrow.

Maxpower and allmotormike are both real good trans guys. They put all of ours together here at the dealership.

Check with Cre also dont know that he would have time but hes pretty good with trannys. I think he has a performance automatic c4 tranny for sale

I agree with yelsvt03cobra, Paul's Transmissions is a good shop. I've used them and some friends have used him with no problems.
