street car, street/strip or race car ?
what are your plans/future plans with it ?
it usually boils down to how much you wanna waste in it and how fast you wanna go.
i'm missing my 3rd gen.

well in that case i say build you a trusty ol' flat top 406, decent set of heads and a sr cam like the bullet 259/267 @ .050 .638 .638 cam and you should be able to run 7.0s fairly easy with a 4000k stall and 4:10 cogs or so. that motor will run on pump gas all day long also ang you could drive it to the track.

I agree with slow trap on the motor, u gotta slick ride (slow trap). green camaro but i would throw some spray on maybe 150 shot. or use a 177 prostreet blower there for a single carb. i have 1 on my tank but its a big block i love it. very streetable, donnie skags the green s-10 or richard norris the red s-10 they are runing the small block one there s-10s are low 6's high 5's. richard is wanting to sell his blower carb set up prob get a good deal on it. if your intrested here is number 510-6232

If you are talking about running in the 7.00's in the 1/8 mile take the 98 LS1 I have for sale and slap it in there with a set of headers and get you a turbo 350 or 400 and buy the brand new Fuddle convertor I have set up at 3,800 stall at 2.4 STR and you will be running 7.40's all day on motor and put you a 75 dry shot of NOS and you are at 7.00's. All the stuff I have will cost you $2,000. I have a ad in the for sale section.
I hope this helps!

prochargers are easier to run and install. turbomustangs.com has great info on both setups. also yellowbullet.com has some very smart people there and great info. we have experience with a few procharged cars if you have any questions, we can either answer them or steer you in a good direction. lol
