I'm selling my Peavey Ultra Plus full stack to move onto something else. I'm not looking for a good hard rock, metal sound anymore so I'm downsizing to either a halfstack or a combo. It has JJ Tesla tubes in both parts of the amp that have plenty of life left. The amp is in great shape. The cabs are 412M (straight) and 412MS (slant) with metal grilles. These are the cabs that Peavey was using when they built the Ultra Plus, which turned into the XXX essentially. The amp comes with it's original footswitch. I have always let the tubes warm up before hitting the standby switch, and always let them cool down before completely powering it off. I take very good care of my gear. These products are USA made. The cabs are switchable from 16 ohm mono to 8 ohm stereo.
Here are the details:
120 watts with half power switch
6l6 power tubes, 12ax7 preamp tubes
Active eq, so you can really dial in your sound
3 channel, cruch and lead both share the same eq
Crunch and lead have a gain switch to add extra gain
Resonance switch for sending more or less punch to the cab
Effects loop
High gain input and low gain input
If someone wants the full stack, with Monster Power speaker cables, I'm asking $1000 for the full stack. If someone wants a half stack, they can have it with the slant cab for $750. Depending on where you live, I can even deliver the amp. I'm probably not going to sell just the amp, or just the cabs, I need to sell at least a halfstack variation to clear up room and get money for another amp I want. I might take trades on other amps, depending on what it is you have.
