Just put a new alternator and battery in the Scamp and Ill be installing a new air filter in my Edelbrock chrome air cleaner tomorrow! I hope you boys and girls are ready for 318 inches of FURY!!!:shocked:

Dang Swinger, if you would have went with the low profile air cleaner you could have kept the flat hood!

Where did ya ever dig that picture up from? I sure hope you don't expect more than 1 dummy to believe that is what you have under the 18 inch hood scoop. :ymca:

:rofl3: Looking good , can only see the corner of the battery but it appears to be a new Interstate battery.....yeah c'mon , thats good for a 10th or so by itsely , I assume you are going to run it without the breather at the track though right.....if I were you I would have built something more like this though

Me & Pete made a few changes to the Farm Truck last weekend, too..... LOL...

New wheels & tires, lift kit, dual wiper blades, new tool box in bed:

Wow...look at those domes! We're going to test Tom's fuel in Carolina...all that talk about it being a pump gas STREET car:D The only pump gas being ran in that thing would be E-85, but I doubt that he's converted yet...

Thats my Dart motor, thats not the Scamp motor. The Scamp motor has -21cc dish pistons in it and I race it on pump gas. Coupe can verify this for you. He's had the heads off at his shop before. You just better concentrate on getting your shit dialed in before bugday!:yup:

i didnt see one word about the dart motor not being in the scamp though.or the scamp motor still being in the scamp.just my 02.

Just a FYI, the scamp motor is actually bigger than the Dart motor. Sometimes I have a hard time remembering which motor is where, they both look the same! You never know, I may show up with both cars, you just never know.

No, you only think you know. But in reality you only heard what I wanted you to hear.The only one who knows for sure what motor will be in the scamp on bugday is me! Remember, my Dart was just sitting in the shop waiting for the motor to be finnished. All I did with the Scamp motor was pull it out, check the bearings and swap cams. So both cars and both motors are sitting here at my shop. Now on the other hand, I know your car is a LOT faster than you would like people to believe it is. I know what it ran when you were just making motor passes @ Silver Dollar before you even put N/T on the window and sprayed it! Im in direct communication with the tower. I know what you run before you get your time slip!!! :rofl:

$5000 POS??? You mean the $5000++ you have in that stroker motor you have in that car??? You may very well get to the stripe first, thats why Im bringing some 28x10.5's to run you and Bolt with after the small tire race is over. Then Ill let you buy me a beer after the race is over :cheers: .

By the way 120's square will blow the tires off, Ive already tried that :bart: . And Ill take no chances against you because I know we will eventually have to line up. Ill have pretty big jets in the first stage and Ill have the OH SHIT jets in the second stage. If I blow it up I always have the Dart to run and Ill have all winter to build a new motor for the scamp. I just bought another 340 block the other day.

If you think that I have $5000++ in this motor, then you're dillusional!!! This is a Ford motor...not a mopar. It will run with JY parts and bust some high dollar mopar azz:D...all $1500 of it...carb-oil pan!
I'll tell you what...and I am dead serious...you, or anyone else on this forum, can bring me $5000, and you can take this motor home and find out what's in it. You buy this for $5000, and I'll have a chevy powering my junk:D

You see, no matter how many kits you spray, or how badly that you bust my azz, you've still only got in front of some dish piston, iron headed, flat-tappet cammed junk yard parts. You can't win...even if you do get to the stripe first:D

Hell, I'm so cheap that I won't even spring for some draglites for my junk...it's got space savers on the front. You think that I'm going to spend money on a high dollar engine like you? Not when I can bust dat azz w/ JY parts:D
