Since this seems to be the true grudge racer section of SCF. Has everyone seen the new rules for ORSCA ezstreet next year?

Wiping all current records and I forsee a good half of all the racers moving on to L/S or dropping out all togther.

Doing it to keep the class alive I suppose.

maybe now they will get some of the florida cars and actually have a full field of cars. But it looks like they ran off a bunch of people who ran and were planning to run EZ next season. Hard to please everyone.

It looks like they are backing up! Stock suspension! Now if they would go back to stock front suspension and steering and lb per cubic inch rules it could be fun again! (kinda like NMCA had it in 1996)

I have to beleave these changes where made to keep the class under control and safe.Hell there are a hand full of cars running 4.8's-4.9's on radials they must feel its just too close to getting out of hand, and is not safe at those speeds on those tires with stock suspention. IMO
But none the less I guess they are going to kill my favorite class. :soap:

I dont think they are going to kill the class really and I dont think the new rules will slow them down a whole lot. Yes it will slow them down some but IMO it wont be much. They done it because there were a few cars in the class that were qualifying and could compete in limited street. I think the class got out of hand a long time ago and they should have done something about it then instead of waiting a couple years down the road, but thats just my opinion.

simple 275/60 drag radial. you cant tell me that a big big block on alcohol with an f3 is using all the power that it makes! take the 7531 box away and the tc crap and put them on the little tire.

The TC is part of the problem but hell if you got the $$ to put a combo like that together anothr 5k aint gonna matter and you can do what everyone else is doing.

actually several cars were running low 8's high sevens in vegas on the little tire. i have been in the fives in the eighth on the little radials with no traction contol or a 7531 box so i know that they can run fast on them so what i am saying is that it levels the playing field by running them and it will slow the cars down.
