I used to drive a 2002 Malibu, it was a basic college car and really the only thing I changed on it was the sound system. So I am really new to the whole racing/moding scence. I recently purchased 1997 Acura CL 3.0, and after learning it packed a lot more power than my Malibu I decided I would rather waste my cash on my car then on beer and clubs. I've been looking at body kits all ready and have a found a few let me know what you think about them. ( http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/edd-spyder-kit.html ) I also think that the first thing I am going to do to the Acura is put the racing seat belts in that I've always wanted, I was never able to do this on the Malibu because of laziness and I just didnt know how, but I figured new car new ideas so why not try it. And one last thing is I was woundering if it was at all possible to change my cars transmission type. My Malibu was stick and I loved it like that just for the fact that I was never bothered to lend my car to someone, but the problem is that the Acura isn't and I really (beleive it or not) don't know how to drive auto. When ever the car is about the switch gears I let go of the gas try to find the clutch and try to move the shifter, which in return makes me look like an idiot in front of people. Just post with ideas, remember that I am not mechanicly inclined so if you are going to talk to me about motors or any things like that pretend you are talking to a 6 year old, who must explain it to this 3 year old brother.
