I have had a ton of calls about this. When i set these rules, they were set years ago.SS rules were totally different than they are now,and it was just a short way to make a few simple rules. Here were the MAIN rules, maybe gimpy can answer the rest and double check them or change my orginal rules. But you can search back for years of the shootouts and see what they are.here is a basic list.

No extended swing arms
No air shifters
No power adders
No electronics (except like power commanders,etc..) Basically,no tree electronics,2 steps,etc..
any fuel allowed
Any motor work allowed
no ground clearnence rules
Weight can be added

There are some i am probably leaving out,but these were the MAIN rules.Gimpy can edit/change or correct what he feels as he is running the show this year. But i keep getting calls, and i figured i would post up the past rules.SS rules have changed, and people are thinking that is what we go by.No,then we would have to all use U4,ground clearnece, and check a TOn of shit,etc..

I know they changed the heavy hitters to allow wheelbase, but that is the only rule i KNOW that has been changed.Hope to see ya'll out there.should be a blast.

I won't be near the bikes the whole time,as much as i would like.As i am driving a few cars also, but if you need some help, you know you can hollar at me.you know i get side tracked,so no offense to anyone.I'm looking forward to this and getting back on a bike.

cool and understandable.just have had calls about "ss rules".Like i said,i just put that on the DFT2 to make the rules look simple, then i would fix them and explain. Most don't know what SS rules are,and hell,Prostar changes them a few times a year.LOL
If we did the rules by SS rules,i don't think anyone would pass to be honest. Much less since it is just 1000's anyways :D
