on the just for fun thread over 50 local racers have just been banned from I-40 dragway. simply because one person had a disagreement with the owners son. i am one of the main people of POORBOYS RACING, and do not let this bother me at all. i am sure some of the members will submit to his requests to get back into the track and i have no problem with this. every man can make their own decisions. i will not continue to support a program where people are threatened by physical means or being banned for not agreeing or bowing down to someone. anyways, do what you feel necessary.

yes we were getting along but with TWO new poorboys this week causing shit here and bad mouthing and the PM's I have got from people saying they were asked to cause trouble and would not... it left me no choice.

Shane, as far as I know we're cool. I just wanna say that it doesn't have to do with "bowing down". It has to do with dogging a person's business. Yeah, we crack on Poorboys (which from me is all in fun), but Poorboys is not a business. Howe Motorsports IS a business, however, and publicly dogging them has a direct impact on that business. Now this Chrisv fella comes on here and starts dogging the track and was warned several times to drop it, with implications on the Poorboys as a whole due to his vehicle being in y'alls video, therefore associated with you. He kept going and this was the result. You guys need to take him out to woodshed if you wanna lynch somebody. He's the one that got y'all suspended.

Now, every entry fee received is important to a business, but suspending a group that bashes the facilities and the family that runs it will hardly cause the gates to close. I seem to remember a time over the summer when Poorboys weren't allowed at the track (I could be wrong, just thought I remembered you all talking about it being nice to be back) and the car count wasn't exactly low during that time.

Like I said, the only BS I give you guys is in fun, but I understand Jim's point of view on this and back him up 100%. Just my $.02:)

Well, I can tell you a couple things: First, I've been in the tower next to Jim when your car ran down the track he didn't say anything negative about you, your car, you family, or anything.
Second, I've known the Howe family for a little while (slight exaggeration there, since his family has been friends with mine since before we were born. His Mom graduated with my Aunt as a matter of fact...), so I know Jim pretty good. My opinion of him and his family and how they run their business is pretty accurate, considering the above.
My opinion of you guys as a whole has never developed, since I haven't met y'all personally and unless you act like an a$$ to me on here, I let my impression when we meet in person dictate my opinion.

I don't wanna get in this shit, just wanted to say the only reason ChrisV's truck ended up in the video was because it was sent to my cell phone. It was a mass text message that went out and ton's of them poured in. He may not even be a poorboy and this could all be for nothing. I didn't recognize half the cars.. Whatever is going on it need's to take a turn for the better. It should be crossville racer's united to try and keep track money in crossville.. Fuck the PB's vs HM's guys. It needs to get to the point where it's crossville VS everybody else lol.. Thats just the opinion of a guy with a slow car though so take it for what it's worth lol..
I dont know who chrisV's is but anyone can be a poorboy if they want but it has a few glitches. lol...
