almost finished racecar pics

this used to be prostreetZ28's car,i bought it from him earlier this year.its a 93 Z28 with a 98 front end 385 sbc,th350 trans,moser 12 bolt and its now sporting a big stupid hood (that is for sale if anyone is interested).it also has 4 inch single exhaust by pro chassis and fab.i havent gone to the track yet but i thought i would post some pics before i take it apart to paint it.

It was twice. :finger2: And then you "retired" that car, so I wouldnt have another chance:D Though I can't blame ya, it was too nice of a car to race. We made about the same power, but yours worked alot better, and put it to the ground. Pulled off and left me like I was sitting still.

No offense to the owner of the red car, but the hood on todds69's car is 1000X better looking than one thats open in the front. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't change a thing todd's car from the winshield forward...pimp! Of course, if you're trying to get a race, then the red hood works! If I rolled up and parked between those two cars at the dragstrip, I'd think twice about running the car with the cowl all the way to the windshield...but I'd jump all over the red car:D

don't get me wrong i love the way it looks with the big ass cowl hood.but its way more of a pain than i thought it was going to be.say you want to adjust the idle well now you have to spend more time taking the hood off then you do working on the car,not to mention if the engine cought fire the car would have already be burnt to the ground by the time you get the hood off.
