I have an 87 GT, with 27k original miles, with perfect red interior. I hate the red and want to replace it with either black or grey. The problem is there is someone that wants the red interior but I have no clue how much to ask and this guy has no clue what to offer. If it was black or grey I’d have a fairly good idea of what to sell it for but its red and 90% of people hate red interior.
Can anyone give me a ball park price to start off?
Here are a few pics. Its mint……….hell the armrest works and even the lights in the sun visors work.

I agree , red interior looks good to me , as long as it is that nice , and this is about the nicest I have seen in a long time and this is the nice red with the designs in the stitching , not the cheapo looking red....stick with it , Everybody has Black or grey....yours is perfect and its different!!!!!

I also agree to keep it. A red interior is rare enough to see these days; let alone one in great shape. I converted mine from red to black a long time ago and it seemd so common now.

I have a red 88GT with 26K miles on it and I can not give that car away. Everyone who comes and looks at the car loves it, but say they can not stand the red interior. if I hear once, I have heard it a thousand times "only if it did not have red interior" I like it and never thought twice about it when I bought the car.

The wife's 90GT has the "porno red" as it's call so often. I for one love it. But there again, the Red does go well with the Black outside...

What do you need. I have a red interior that I just change out of a car. May have what you need.

I would leave it alone as well. My daily beater '92 LX is Charcoal Gray with red interior, and the red has grown on me. It just seems to fit the car, especially with the gray exterior. Other than a non-functioning ashtray door (big suprise there..lol) and slightly sagging map pockets, the interior in mine is clean as can be. That's what attracted me to the car....than and it still had the intake silencer in the fender...lol.

I had the exact same exact red interior for a coupe that I sold to a guy in New York for $500. He paid about 200 to have it shipped. It looked like it was in the same condition also. He put it in his white coupe.
