4.6 v8 expedition motor

Friend's 99 expedition slung a rod and left him in a hell of a bind for Christmas.

Assuming the head's are good what's a good place to get a short block?

If they are trashed, any idea where to get pullout's?

Also, what years are compatible if I did find a pull out?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is it the 8 bolt or 6 bolt flywheel?

They are in Moultrie but tend to have a ton of parts.

best bet is call local junk yards quality and m&s in fayetteville are good i have bought many low mileage engines from them. 4.6 and 5.4 are good engines but unless you aer very experienced i wouldn't try building one
