I need some help:

I'm preparing to launch a website that is also forum-based. As of right now, I am the only member on the site, which means I'm the only one that has posted on there as well. :D

I would like anyone that wants too, to check it out, register and post some good thread questions that are related to the topic of the forum etc. as content, so when the site launch takes place, there is some stuff to read/respond too in there. The site is online but is still under construction.

Please be serious and don't post irrelevant material on there, as the first impression a user gets means a lot.

The forum is a web community sharing information on Google's Knol online encyclopedia. The website URL is http://www.googleknolforums.com.

I appreciate anyone that is interesting in helping me out! :nice:

Knol is short for knowledge, meaning a unit of knowledge. Google coined the term and the definition is actually longer than what I just put.

Google's Knol has been compared to wikipedia.com, about.com and other websites.

Basic differences:

Google's approach is to display Google ads on the 'Knol' pages and to share advertising revenues generated with the author, if said revenue came from the pages within Knol that he authored. There's more to it that this, but this is it in a nutshell.

I'm in trouble in finding others to help in providing content. :)

I guess I'll start the advertising campaign and see if a few will trickle in to help in that area. :)
