tire size questions!!!!! help please!

i got 2 new bullit wheels that are deep dish and 10.5 inches wide for the rear of my coupe! was gonna run a 315 35 17 size tire in the rear!

anybody have this set up or any experience with it?

was wondering what backspace i need for those wheels in the rear?

At least 6.5 inches of backspacing and a great big Hammer! I was thinking the same thing. Since Ford's 9.5" wide wheel has like 6.12" of backspace I don't know how much is left on the outer edge against the lip of the wheel opening. I can make it simple for ya tho :D put the ass end up...take a tire off and measure the bitch!! There's yer "Easy" button

i already hammered the shit out of the inner fender and removed the quadshocks. i have 285s on the car now and they clear fine without tailpipes! i have pipes on there now so im guessing i should take them off? ive seen it done so im gonna go with it and just make do! thanx for all the help!
