I am looking at buying a kazuma 110 four wheeler for my nephew, and just wondering if they are reliable or not, Are they like the real cheap ones you can by that are useually for sale on the side of the road or no. Would really appreciate some input from some of you guys.

They are the ones on side of the road. I have 2 50cc that Ive owned for about 2 years. Other than the small metal gaurds that break from vibration, they appear to be fine. Some things to look out for when buying are, does it have front suspension, is it fully automatic, does it have a foot brake (some only have a hand brake that is too hard for small kids to pull).

Hope this helps. Just remember, it's no Honda, but the price reflects it. A new motor for the 50cc is only $220.00 complete with the transmission. That is about the price for a jug on a honda. You can also save by buying one in the crate.

Brad.

Brad must have gotten very lucky! We have owned 4-5 of them and they all seem to fall apart fairly quick. We have one that we bought about 2 months ago and it already won't start and when we roll start it it will soon die and won't re-start. I will gladly purchase one of the E-Ton brands but other than that we will stick with the name brand ones from now on.

I bought 4 Kazumas about three years ago(2 150's and 2 90's) and I have had NO issues with them and they get the HELL beat out of them! The wife and I have two Yamaha Raptor 660r's(actually 720cc's;) ) but bought these for the kids to play in the mud with. Around here you rarely see the Kazumas by the road, they are the other REAL cheap ones that sit by the road(and there is a difference). Always start good and no issues to date(not to mention they ALL cost half of what ONE of my Raptors did!). At any rate good luck with whatever you choose. Dont want to clog the thread but heres how ours get used

My son has one and hasnt gave it alot of hell but no issues other than parts coming loose (need loc-tite or something) and a small deflector broken. Definately not the quality of a name brand but then again I have a Yamaha and break all kind of shit on it as well.
I guess it would depend on how much and how hard it will get rode as to if it would be worth spending the money on a name brand.

Tuff little 4 wheelers. We've had a YMF 100 for over 8 years and have beat the CRAP out of it! It was used when we got it!

Ditto on that. We had one until 2 weeks ago when I sold it to purchase a Yamaha Breeze 125 for my son.

And my son beat the hell out of that one for 5 years before yours took over. :)
