    Car Stereo Guys / Shops

Thinking about putting a remote start on the F250.

Honestly, I don't want an alarm, or very many bells & whistles, simply a basic remote start for those cold mornings. Since it's a diesel, it needs to be one that has a programmable delay, in order to allow for the glow plugs to activate/work once the ignition is energized prior to the crank attempt.

Reading around on most of the Powerstroke/Super Duty sites, the CrimeStopper, Autostart, and a couple others seem to be popular choices.

Now, I absolutely despise wiring. Not that I can't do it, just that I don't have the patience.

So, what I'm looking for is...

    1. Someone out there who's experienced in the car stereo/alarm/remote start realm and wants to make a little side money installing whatever remote start I buy.
    2. Someone who works at a car audio shop and can shoot me a good price on a basic remote start installed.

    Let me know...

I can install it for you. I have 15 years exp. Refrences available. I would recomend one by Directed Electronics (ie. viper, hornet, python) and I would at least do a keyless entry/ remote start even if the truck already has keyless. The range is way better than the factory & who wants 2 remotes on their key chain.
