I just ordered a set of headers
The rear end gears are getting changed so I will have a lot more torque and be ab;e to pull harder
A tranny is in the making
And depending on funds, a cowl hood.

I may be doing the conversion at my uncle's place in fremont, since he has a super nice workshop with a car lift, mig, wire, aluminum, welders and a cutting torch, not to mention almost a complete tool shop. cause this would be a very complex conversion due to custom designed HD motor mounts to hold 200 + whp and 200-220ft/lbs torque to the wheels. not to mention all the other work and custom fab neccessary to do the update/backdate conversion. there are less tha n 10 known sciroccos in the us right now with a 1.8t conversion, mainly due to all the work neccessarry. but hte performance will be more than worth it

    a few

a few of my parts are already here, but I'm staying stock motored for a while. I'll be swapping in some DR500s, RPS clutch and flywheel, 550 cc injectors, and an ARC II air/fuel controller with the 87 mm MAS. Those mods should take me into the 11s on race gas...I want to add some propane injection to make it an 11 second street car. (Don't laugh too hard, the same setup netted 11.60s to guys that can drive)

Well, later guys, good luck with your setups!

    carbon?

    RPS single disc clutch

the Carbon Single Disc??? I don't think it will hold that kind of power, isn't it rated at like 600 ft/lbs? The break away torque rating on that Supra built the way you're talking will def. smoke through the single disc.

It's twin disc time for you meng!

    for my b18 hatch:
civic type-R pistons (just got em WOOT), stock rods, port&polish head, 15degree valve cut, skunk2 valve retainers, springs, and seals, 310cc injectors, walbro fuel pump, new fuel lines (braded stainless steel and bigger), fuel rail, filter, regulator, blitz headgasket, new street/strip clutch, new exhaust (custom with blitz nurspec muffler) and that should be it...i figure its gonna be the all motor bitch car..see where it takes me from that.

Yeah, but the 1500 will include a flywheel and you'll be able to have it rebuilt...I've talked with Rob at RPS a few times and he really seems cool. They've been having problems with people trying to overpower those single carbon clutches. I'd really recommend the twin, you'll be able to slip it out of the hole and run back to back to back passes. It seems that next to no one has been able to break a twin.

The altered atmosphere drag stealth blew their first one up a couple weeks ago, but that's connected to an 800 hp AWD stealth. The clutches take a beating!

    Cool Meng, later man.

Plan on a suspension rebuild, depends on budget. Front struts are worn out. Looking to get a good set of coilovers, and adjustable strut bars. I have an upgraded sway bar, but I am going up to the highest upgrade. That alone should push me just over a G on the skidpad.

I need to do some engine maintainence, and a rebuild would be a good idea too.

I want to start autocrossing somewhere in town.

If the budget gets real good, I am going to get the LSD upgrade for my car, thats front center, and rear lsd. Plus, some structure reinforcment, and drop a few hundred pounds. I should be closer to 1.2 Gs after that. I would liek to tune the engine a little too, and rebuild my gear box. If I get another car, I will probally rally as well.

    wheels

the 19 inch wheels FINALLY shipped today....I was told by GT-Pro that they were out last week, but they did ship today. So, that means I need to pick up some 19 inch tires. I think I'm going with the Yokohama AVS's....275/30/19 in the rear, 245/35/19 up front. That's 19 x 10 in the rear and 19 x 9 up front. Some serious tire tread on the ground. I just need to start making enough power to break those tires loose.

    couple reasons

    couple reasons:

    1. I think they'll look awesome.

    2. I'm getting partial sponsorship from GT-Pro in California on them...check them out at www.gtpro.com

They're really not that big, the car came stock with 17s, and the 2nd generation cars came with 18s stock....so its not too large a jump really.
