There is no comparison imo. The MT's are much better.

I have run the BFG's on the street and the hooked great but there track tires and not so good on expressway when you swap lanes.
Felt like the lugs nuts were coming off when I changed lanes at 70 mph's and scared dodo out of me.
The m/t's look good and I think there my next choice but not sure how the act on the street especially the expressway and not sure they make them in 315/17's.

On my old turbo (precision 76gts). I had 315/35/17 BFG Drag radials on a 17x11.5 wheel. I could hold 900rwhp on the street when weather was warm. As soon as I sprayed a 125shot on it the car was ALL OVER the place.

Sold those tires and went to a MUCH SMALLER 255/50/16 MT drag radial on a 16x8 wheel. It dead hooked 900rwhp + 125shot. I was very impressed. Never looked back. I now run 325/50/15's MT Drag radial for the street. Wouldn't ever consider the BFG again.

My 325's MT's are 2.5 years old and have at least 10k street miles and no tread left on them. Last time @ track I was able to cut 1.4 60ft's on them.

Depending on what it is going on and how much power it makes. I had both and on the street my car would blow them both off. My car is a 6 speed to however. 315/35/17 just doesn't have enough sidewall to really hook.

What are you looking to do with what they are going on? Track, DD, or ???

what tire?

i had the bfgs in 315 35 17 on my black sn95. lower psi in 30 degree wheather with a short burn dead hooked on my car. on and off the bottle! so good i ripped the torque boxes before i could wear the tires down! i like tha bfgs and ive had 3 sets on the cars ive had.

i also liked the 1 set of mt i had. same size as above. the hwy use was the same for me in both brands but i got more milage out of the bfgs. didnt really get to test the mts at a track but they dead hooked on the street as well!

good luck with the purchase, with that size i think you will be satified with either tire? i might be the only one on here with a vote for the bfgs?

keep in mind that the mts are much bigger than the other dragradials on the market. i bought the mts for my coupe in a 315 35 17 and alllll the work that i did with a Bfh, i couldnt get them to not scrub? i switched back to the bfg and thew were a perfect fit. ive seen the mts in a 275 look just as big as a 315 on the right wheel.

just my 2 cents. hope it helps.

here is a pic of the 315 bfgs on my coupe. i dont have any of the 315s on my sn95 car but they looked even better.

I have had them in 18's. Not as good as the other Bf's though. Nitto's would for sure last longer. It is probably going to be hard to hook that car up on DR's in that size. The M/T's are nice but wear fast. The ones you have posted above are terrible in the rain. You could John Force the ones I had and they still wouldn't hook.

M/T's over the Bf-Goodrich's above.

The BFG's will work for you and they have a much better tread wear rating on them than the M/T's, like 103 compared to a 0 for the M/T's. At the track you just need to put a bit more heat into them on the burnout. I'll go 1.31 60's with the 325/50-15 pretty consistantly.

I have never ran the BFG's but ran a set of MT's for the first time yesterday and I am very pleased. After the 8.5 tire race at Twiggs last night I bolted on a set of 275-60-15 and made a couple passes with no change to my set-up, the tires were only .02 slower in the sixty but I think that was due to the larger size and weight. They are smooth and stable at speed for sure.
