RIP "NIGHTSHADES" (from SRTFORUMS)

I know that no one on here knew this guy , but this hit me pretty hard , I am posting this up as a reminder , that you never know when your time is going to come up , so be prepared to go . This is a VERY sad situation . Steven Lorenz AKA Nightshades on the srtforums was 18 years old , attending college , had his own business www.srt4designs.com and somethign tragic brought it all to an end . The bad thing was he was the passenger NOT the driver , but the driver also lost his life .

So this is just a reminder to me to slow Down .

Story behind this is that they had just installed a new part , hit a patch of water and went into a pine tree at 70mph .

RIP Nightshades

It was a 35mph zone , had daily "sprinkler" systems that watered the grass that had sprayed onto the road and thats what they hit , but to me it looks like a lot faster than 70mph . Here is one pic in the day light.

what would you expect from a four-eye'd piece of shit loser that has no friends, nor has ever had a girlfriend, beats his meat twice a day to child bondage porn, and looks like a fucking crater faced midget on crack...... yep, I would rather have "Nightshade" back then have this poor excuse of a human participate in the byproduct of photosynthesis.

obviously moocow doesn’t value life, because if he did, he wouldn’t have spoke negatively about someone who just died at the age of 19. sad.

This truely does suck , srt's are way to fast for their own good . There has been atleast 6 people die in them this year that were on the forums . Hard telling how many more . Makes me think twice , i got some of "nightshades" eyelids and i will sport them prodly on my car in rememberance of him , and everytime i think i got to race someone to prove my point , i pray that i will remember what happened to him and how bad it had to hurt his family and freinds . And realize that i wouldnt want to put my family and freinds thru that .

Thanks for all the kind words , im sure his family appreciates it .

Um no. Not in the least.

Thats the stupidest comment ever posted on these forums. ever.

No car is "too fast for its own good".

The DRIVER designates how fast ANY car is. The power might be there, or it might not, but it is up to the OPERATOR to unleash it or hold it back. Nothing more, nothing less.

Its certainly sad that he died, I hate to see young people go. However, to say that its the CARS fault, is fucking retarded. That kid driving could have just as easily tested his BOV by going near the speed limit. Rather, he fucked up and killed himself, someone else, and hurt someone else terribly.

He done fucked up, and he screwed over tons of other people in the process. The Neon has no beef in it.

im with red a hundred percent

also it seems to be the general mentality of srt owners that is causing so many accident related deaths, not that their cars are to fast

Regardless of what kind of car one is in or how good a driver one thinks they are, shit can happen when they drive twice the speed limit in any car.

People need to learn they are not in control of a vehicle 100% of the time.

Sad to hear about this tradedy and it seems some of you guys could have a little more respect than what you have shown by your posts in this thread.

That’s sad to hear. It’s a shame when stuff like this happens. But what is really sad is that this accident was easily preventable.

What their family must be going through
